Fire Door Surveys in St Austell

Fire Door Surveys in St Austell, Cornwall: every door logged, photographed and graded, with a clear price for anything that needs putting right.

A fire door survey is a more detailed version of an inspection, used when you need to plan and budget: it grades every defect by urgency, decides whether each door should be repaired, upgraded or replaced, and turns the findings into a costed schedule of works. Fire Door Surveys in St Austell: questions

What is the difference between a fire door inspection and a survey?

An inspection records whether each door passes or fails. A survey goes further: it grades each defect, recommends repair, upgrade or replacement, and costs the work so you can budget.

Can you price remedial work in St Austell from another company's report?

Yes. Send the report and we will price each line for your building in St Austell, or revisit specific doors if the report lacks detail.

Does regulation 10 apply to buildings in St Austell?

Yes, if the building is a multi-occupied residential building with storeys over 11 metres. St Austell is in England, so the quarterly communal door checks and annual flat entrance door checks apply to those buildings.

Can the survey support a section 20 consultation?

Yes. The costed schedule gives a clear description of the proposed works and their budget, which you can use when consulting leaseholders. Formal consultation remains the landlord's responsibility.
