West Bromwich FAQs

Do you provide paperwork?

Yes. You receive the product's certification or test evidence, an installation record and photographs for each door.

Can you price remedial work in West Bromwich from another company's report?

Yes. Send the report and we will price each line for your building in West Bromwich, or revisit specific doors if the report lacks detail.

What do FD30 and FD60 mean?

They describe how long the door is designed to resist fire in a test: 30 or 60 minutes. An S after the rating, such as FD30S, means the door also controls the passage of cold smoke.

Does regulation 10 apply to buildings in West Bromwich?

Yes, if the building is a multi-occupied residential building with storeys over 11 metres. West Bromwich is in England, so the quarterly communal door checks and annual flat entrance door checks apply to those buildings.
