Rickmansworth FAQs

Do you provide paperwork?

Yes. You receive the product's certification or test evidence, an installation record and photographs for each door.

What is the difference between a fire door and a fire doorset?

A fire door often means just the leaf. A doorset is the complete assembly, leaf, frame, seals and hardware, tested and supplied together. Doorsets remove much of the guesswork from installation and are usually the better choice for replacements.

Does regulation 10 apply to buildings in Rickmansworth?

Yes, if the building is a multi-occupied residential building with storeys over 11 metres. Rickmansworth is in England, so the quarterly communal door checks and annual flat entrance door checks apply to those buildings.

Do you work in occupied buildings in Rickmansworth?

Yes. Inspections and repairs in Rickmansworth can be carried out in occupied flats, schools, care homes and workplaces, with doors kept closable at all times.
