Fire Door Installation in Blackheath: questions

Does regulation 10 apply to buildings in Blackheath?

Yes, if the building is a multi-occupied residential building with storeys over 11 metres. Blackheath is in England, so the quarterly communal door checks and annual flat entrance door checks apply to those buildings.

What is the difference between a fire door and a fire doorset?

A fire door often means just the leaf. A doorset is the complete assembly, leaf, frame, seals and hardware, tested and supplied together. Doorsets remove much of the guesswork from installation and are usually the better choice for replacements.

Do you provide paperwork?

Yes. You receive the product's certification or test evidence, an installation record and photographs for each door.

Can you price remedial work in Blackheath from another company's report?

Yes. Send the report and we will price each line for your building in Blackheath, or revisit specific doors if the report lacks detail.
