Fire Door Inspections in Camberley

Whether it is a block of flats, a school or a care home in Camberley, our fire door inspections follow the same door-by-door method and report format.

A fire door inspection is a documented, door-by-door check that each fire door in a building will still hold back fire and smoke for its rated period. The inspector examines the leaf, frame, gaps, seals, hinges, closer, glazing, ironmongery and signage, records what passes and what fails, and photographs every defect.

Common questions in Camberley

Does regulation 10 apply to buildings in Camberley?

Yes, if the building is a multi-occupied residential building with storeys over 11 metres. Camberley is in England, so the quarterly communal door checks and annual flat entrance door checks apply to those buildings.

What happens if a door fails?

The report lists exactly which components failed and why. Each item is priced separately, so you can approve the urgent fixes first and plan the rest.

Will the inspection tell me whether a door is a genuine fire door?

It records the evidence available: labels, plugs, glazing marks, hardware markings and construction. Where there is no evidence of a fire rating, the report says so, so the fire risk assessor can decide what to do.

Do you work in occupied buildings in Camberley?

Yes. Inspections and repairs in Camberley can be carried out in occupied flats, schools, care homes and workplaces, with doors kept closable at all times.
